Holy Wood/Sage

Palo Santo is an extremly fragrant wood that has been used by Amazonian people since ancient times. Spiritually, Palo Santo is often used for purification, meditation, to increase flow of the bodies energy, and to ward off bad energy/spirits, misfortune, and calamity.

Smudging is a native American practiced used to cleanse, heal, and purify people, places and things. Sage smoke is often used by a shaman to heal the spiritual body (aura) of someone, and to cleanse negative energies and spirits from a home or ritual area. There is no denying that the smell of this holy sage livens the atmosphere anywhere it is burned.
